New editorial policies for HUMAN Review journal
Dear HUMAN Review subscribers, the journal has recently been acquired by our publisher, Eurasia Academic Publishing Group (EAPG). This publishing house is based in Hong Kong and has a branch in the Netherlands. The journal is in a process of editorial transition that requires many technical and procedural changes. HUMAN Review has conformed to EAPG policies, and significant changes have taken effect from now on:
- All articles will be open access in compliance with the principles defined by DOAJ. The embargo established for access to articles is eliminated.
- Authors will retain rights to their works, which will be published under the CC BY-ND 4.0 license.
- The following articles will no longer be accepted: book reviews, and academic videos.
- The language of submission and publication will be English. We will no longer be publishing in Spanish.
- There will be no charges for processing and publishing articles (no APC).
- Policies were established regarding proposals for special issues.
These can be consulted here:
These are the guidelines regarding the special issue proposals and publication:
All those interested in proposing a special issue should send an email to . The special issue must contain: title, scope, topics/keywords, guest editors (full name, affiliation, ORCID and email), prospective list of papers including authorship, and submission deadline.
We are working with Elsevier to implement a new editorial management and publishing portal. This means that we will not be accepting articles until further notice. Once the new portal is ready, we will let you know.
If you want to learn more about our ethical standards, you can visit this page: https://eaapublishing.org/editorial-policy/. If you have any questions, you can write to us at editorial@eaapublishing.org.
We thank you for being part of our community, and we would appreciate you joining us in this new editorial stage.
Sincerely,
Jack Zhu,
CEO and founder of EAPG.
